Botswana : General Information : Climate and Health

Botswana is generally warm to hot during the bird hunting season. September and October temperatures are generally cool mornings and evenings while mid-day warms up to around 80F.

There will be first aid kits available in camp and medical services are available in nearby towns and cities.

Botswana areas are Malaria areas. Please consult your Doctor when and if Malaria prophylaxis is needed. Your Professional Hunter carries a first aid kit, while sophisticated medical services are available in nearby Botswanan towns and cities.
